Well, the busy Fox River Mall was bustling this past cloudy Saturday.  We met some lovely folks who shared stories about pets they have now and ones that have passed.  We LOVED meeting all of you.  Many didn’t know we were here, so that was nice to let everyone know they have our services at their access.  Our booth was lovely as usual in purple and Jill put her special magic on it to make it glow.  Here’s a pic of Jill and Lisa, one of our Board officers.

We are looking for funding for our next program, Healing Heart Pet Loss Partnership, and your support is needed!  You may be one of those people who have a great support system at the time of loss of an angel pet.  And, if you are, you’re blessed.  Many people have no one to understand their grief over their beloved ~ no one to sit with and listen to stories that need to be shared and honored.  This is the time for more compassion and a forum of caring and warmth.   Healing Heart Foundation, Inc. is partnering with our friends, Fox Valley Humane Association, with the use of their Education Room to hold Pet Loss and Anticipatory Loss support group meetings.  This is a great opportunity for both FVHA and HHFI to continue to serve our community with another way to honor the Human Animal Bond.   But, we can’t do it without the support of our community of pet families.  You have our commitment and our expertise to facilitate and cultivate a neighborhood of love at this sacred time.  Spread the word and help us.

We’d love your feedback, so don’t hesitate letting us know what you think and if you’d like to help!  HHFI is a community  based Foundation and with your support, we would like to be a resource for many of your unmet needs with the bond you share with your pet.

And, keep in mind, we are available to come and speak at your next dog club meeting, veterinary staff meeting or anyplace people that have pets gather!  We are advocates for information about what options are available to our community of pet families.   It’s time to start a community dialog.  Tell your friends and family members!

And, as always, it’s the web staff that works the hardest.  This group of eager beavers is up at the crack of dawn to keep our website in good working order.  A harder working group couldn’t be found.  You can see them below waiting for their next task!
